VISIONS'12 CANCELLED

The VISIONS'12 Expedition has unfortunately been cancelled. The R/V Thomas G. Thompson will continue to undergo repairs into the fall and winter, which means we will have missed the favorable "weather window" in the NE Pacific to conduct the cruise. We are already ramping up and planning for next summer (VISIONS'13), which will have us out at sea for 60+ days deploying instruments and sensors for the NSF Ocean Observatories Initiative's cabled observatory.
